[back to overview]

This one is a bit more unfocused than the rest, but i think i'm getting a feel for it.

As i mentioned in an earlier character writeup, i enjoy mixing in a bit of either strength or dexterity into my characters even when focusing on a specific type of spellcasting.
Perhaps that's a bit of a fool's errand on the whole, but in the case of Golden Order Incantations i fear it most definitely is.

Keeping the balance between Faith, Intelligence AND Strength has proved to be a rather uncomfortable challenge, especially in the early game where not committing to something specific tends to end up meaning you just can't use all the gear you'd want to.
To that end, I've started retooling this character towards Strength/Faith instead.

There is a bit of the old build hanging around, of course, seen in the golden mask and the tree sentinel greatshield. For those unaware, you can reflect the Discus of Light spell using this shield's unique skill! A very powerful combination, i've heard, though i think my combat preferences lie elsewhere.

Siluria's Tree is another weapon i've had my eye on for a while.
Being another greatspear that uses the same moveset as Vyke's already had me curious, but learning that charging the weapon skill creates a projectile really pushed it over the edge.
I haven't had quite enough time to really settle in and get a feel for it, but it's good fun.

Once again i don't really have any Fashion to speak of, still in the "scrounging up what armour i can and wearing light stuff that looks weird so i don't heavyroll" phase.
