i feel like if dan hibiki were canonically trans they would definitely be nondysphoric even if they were a binary trans woman and just be like "i'm a woman, some women look like this, accept it!"
or in the case of my genderfree epicene polygender headcanon, they're still very much using the same pronouns and dressing the same (albeit occasionally wearing feminine clothing if they do so wish) and saying "i'm genderfree, some nonbinary people look like this, accept it!"
which, again, is why i think dan would identify as genderfree in addition to their use of genderless terms for themselves on occasion (i.e. bijin instead of ikemen or bishonen like i expected), because they see gender norms and the concept of a static, stable, singular gender identity and presentation as silly and much prefer their whimsical and genderless but very much genderfluid and gendered at the same time way of identifying and presenting
