the fact people are laterally ableist towards fat people w. binge eating disorder who's binge eating is partially caused by lack of inhibition (you know, a trait of multiple disorders that cause executive dysfunction, including autism, adhd, ocd, psychosis and schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder especially during active mania phases, bpd, frontal lobe epilepsy, the list goes ON regarding the stigmatized disorders this symptom is often a part of even disregarding BED) and throw fat people w. binge eating disorder from a lack of inhibition/executive control under the bus by saying "binge eating is just caused by not getting enough food/diet culture!" makes me so mad. i know my lived experiences are inconvenient just because somehow you can't fight for fat liberation if the fat person is fat because of a physical or developmental or psychiatric disability but some people are actually trying to HELP fat people w. their binging by NOT stigmatizing weight and fatness AND by not stigmatizing. lack of self control. which is a symptom our system has pushed back for YEARS because of our fear of being a "bad fatty" when our binge eating started at 17 and showing symptoms at 18
