I am a vainglorious man and had to go shifting through my folder for a pose that is a favorite and that I hadn't posted yet in some other context.

I've been meaning to share this set - write some fanfiction or something alongside it perhaps - for about a month and a half. It's probably the most high-effort pose I've ever done and I've just been sitting on it because i wanna blergh out words and i haven't and aaaaaaaaaa

Taken shortly before Endwalker's release, as part of a set building up to the actual story. Orhen originates from Sharlayan, and was estranged from his father, so the prospect of journeying back to his original homeland and potentially having to see his dad again filled him with anxious dread.

This shot was the last in a series meant to symbolize his (WoLverse au) boyfriend fiancee helping to ease his worries and allow him to finally rest peacefully. I even wrote a short fic to go along with it!

Let's get spicy. What's your Warrior of Light's politics like?

In the context of Etheirys, to be 100% clear.

Orhen tends to keep his nose out of politics for the most part, but being a Sharlayan native, politics seems to find him anyway. Regarding his homeland, he thinks the obsessive hoarding of knowledge is a bit much, though he understands the importance of archival. He just thinks that information should be readily available to anyone who wants it.

As for his greater philosophy, he believes that one should be willing to fight for what they believe in. Be that "one" as in an individual or a collective, such as one of the city-states or the Grand Alliance in general.

War for its own sake is folly, but when hostile elements threaten you and yours, then the greater folly is to not act.

But above all else, Orhen's mantra is "Never stop being curious." Learn anything and everything you can. Learn why your enemies do what they do, learn the intricacies of that machine you found broken down in the middle of a ruins, learn the best way to punch something, learn how to respectfully honor the culture and customs of a country not of your own, learn a tasty new recipe - Learn, Learn, Learn! If something sparks your interest, look into it. You never know what you might end up finding.

When you're doing the level 85 dungeon (and thus have access to most of your class kit) as Sage and very nearly wipe the party at the final boss because you forgot what half your buttons do

Has your Warrior of Light ever used a Fantasia? Alternatively, are they considering it? Tell us about that!

Not canonically, no, but he did physically age after the events of Shadowbringers. In his mainline canon, he's a Scion of the Seventh Dawn due to his Echo ability, so he was soul-ripped into the First with the other Scions, and during that time he grew a beard and aged up a bit while his body was dormant in the Source.

Tormi (short for Tormod, my Viera), on the other hand, is FTM, so he bought a Fantasia once he was able to afford it with his sky pirate loot :3
