tenshi no shi is "a game" and "easy" (HAHA) to play and understand, i think, even if you don't quite understand what's going on
i think of it this way because...because a lot of the gameplay emulates the movements and motions of time-travel / time-looping and how one branch...it replicates the difference of if you've been clocked or not, honestly.
if you choose option 1, zhouyu clocks you (xianming) and treats him wary, guarded, insulting, abrasive, but despite himself disgustingly captivated / INTERESTED so fucking INTERESTED in xianming. but you run into zhouyu's severe internalized homophobia.
if you choose option 2, zhouyu thinks of xianming as a cis woman and treats xianming really really friendly and a little rough around the edges but very gentle, guiding, and flirtatious, and open. but this is contingent on zhouyu seeing xianming as "a woman" and "an acceptable target of desire."
the difference is completely between if zhouyu clocks you or not.
