Back in my early teens, I'd sometimes spend minutes of my time looking at the Wikimedia Commons page for the Crystal Clear icon set, just to feel something.
I've revisited this strange habit a few times in the past few months. I still find it rather mesmerizing, I've always had a soft spot for the distinct glossiness of the icons.

My favorite icon set from this era is Fugue Icons! I actually really want to have an excuse to use these again on a website I make someday...
Ooh I like these, delightfully GNOME-y! Not sure if I've seen them in the wild too much but I do sense a similar vibe to the Silk icon pack, which I used in a WinForms program some years ago.
