I knew something didn't quite feel right about the guy that asked if we loved fish, then handed us a Magikarp and not the basic fishing rod, but it was just subtle enough that I figured I might've just misremembered how to get the fishing rod lol
give a trainer a fish and they'll surf for a day / teach a trainer to fish and they'll freeze in place for a lifetime
