ive been playing thru the mother series lately. ive only 50-75% completed all them and then stopped for whatever reason, several times with mother 2, so i wanted to go back and actually complete games in a franchise i really like.
Anyway i feel like the best thing about mother 1 is having a very good excuse to interface with the guide from starmen.net. It’s just so charmingly earnest in its enthusiasm for the game. I’m happy to just let this guide take me through the game instead of getting all hardcore gamer about navigating this game without one.
im so close to beating it and im just edging thinking about booting up earthbound and seeing how many of these concepts were executed way better in that game. mother 1 is still fun to go back to and see if you're a fan of the series imo ...
