I feel such fondness for chaotic stupid shit done as a kid. Things like:
- Smashing stuff in a ravine
- Putting CDs and grapes and stuff in the microwave
- Bending a CD in one hand until it shatters
- Ghost-riding your bike into a ravine
- Digging a bunch of huge holes and running water into them and creating a mud hell
- Turning pens into little pen cartridge launchers and shooting things up to stick into the drop ceiling
- Rolling a huge rock down into a ravine
- Crawling into the large rainwater runoff pipe in the ravine
- Burning stuff
- Making bad catapult
- Finding a way to sled or ride a thing down a hill that isn't for that
- Throwing and sticking mud clods at a school wall, big stupid blank wall for nothing
- Using a broken picnic table and the weight of three or four others to catapult yourself up sideways and get the wind knocked out of you
- Using that white gravel stuff to scratch doodles and cusses on the pavement
- Hammer game (Sealab 2021)
- Going to the ravine, Ravine as destination and find out
- Canoe flipping rampage
- Riding bikes around in circles as fast as you can
- Running around at night with wooden buster sword decapitating snowmen
- Making sounds into a recording
This, to me, is true goblin.
