If you are looking at my crazy chess website and thinking about learning to play it, don't think about it too hard right now. I'm in the midst of fine-tuning some major rule changes for a much improved, streamlined version of several central game mechanics and will probably make a video about it someday soon.
The odds are very slim that this message is actually applicable to anyone at all reading it, but I felt I had to put it out there.
It's VERY relevant to me. I learned about Veney just before being admitted to hospital and I've been thinking about it a little every day. As soon as I get out I'm making a board. I especially loved the story section on your website. It's just beautiful. So many beautiful ideas expressed there. I also just read the excellent "A Chess Story" by Stefan Zweig which has had me thinking about chess.

I appreciate you saying this but i am a deeply impulse-driven person and veney has grabbed my brain so i will probably just accept the fact that i will learn it now and relearn it again later.
