Okay, I made the dang thing and whipped up a video yesterday.
"Us vs. Chess" is a collaborative variant where you and your teammates control a few weird Black fairy pieces against a computer player with a standard set for White.
This is a work in progress. In short, the puzzle of designing it is a matter of formulating the black pieces in an interesting and balanced way against the computer player's strength.
