had an important realization about input reading in game maker, i'm not going to say what it is though because i'm leepy.
okay i'll reveal part of my secret.... if you press and release a key within the span of one frame then it's possible for it to report as "pressed" and "released" but not as "held" (i.e. keyboard_check will be false but keyboard_check_pressed and keyboard_check_released will be true). i think technically i knew this but the realization was that i should actually do something about it
