Once I came across a banner of trans characters in fighting games. They were all white and all femme-presenting (with the exception of Ladiva on the latter part). None of them look like me and I’m constantly just scraping for something
I want to cry about this. I want to scream. Not just scream. I want to turn that screaming to turn into action. I need to find these pieces of media that feature trans people who actually look at me.
At some point I’d like to make a thread documenting all of the known media that either features black and brown trans characters or where they are the lead. I know there’s Sam from Get In The Car Loser and Jam from Pet but I want more. I need more. I need to be seen. It’s frustrating. I want to do something about it
