ngl it's hard to get myself to post original content on this website when it tends to get a total of 0 interaction
like if i put something in tags, it gets ignored. if i don't and post something for my followers, people either don't see it or don't care.
like ive been thinking about that user who posted on masto a few weeks ago that chronological timeline is its own type of algorithm, it just favors the most online users. because obviously part of the problem is that i don't post original stuff a lot, but also, i have reasons to largely lurk on this site & others and it's great to know i'm doomed to get drowned out by people who log in more
