man if i post this on tumblr im going to get hunted for sport but after years of hearing about it from afar, the most surprising thing about half life is that its literally just another boomer shooter, and the second most surprising thing is how impressive it is for a boomer shooter
so it isn't just a doom thing. the tumblr side of any boomer shooter fandom really just hates playing the game
