it just fucking sucks because the website that functions best for us as a plural system AND has the best plural community, also like. genuinely sucks from a community perspective in almost every single other way. this website is so fucking uppity it makes my skin crawl.
tumblr is the best other alternative functionality-wise, and... it's fucking tumblr. in addition to all its most famous problems, the plural community on there is famously ass.
twitter was unusable before musk bought it. masto sucks. pillowfort is so inactive i can scroll through the entire half life tag in ten minutes. i'm not going to post about being plural on youtube, tiktok, or any other video platform, because why would i join a platform where revealing your voice/face is almost necessary to engage with the plural community. spacehey is dead. wordpress is absolutely Not It. countersocial doesn't fucking work on my browser. im not posting about plurality on a meta-owned platform.
like fuck, i guess we will be migrating to discord... which also fucking sucks and isn't a social media platform.
like when/if this website goes under i am genuinely going to mourn the plural community on here, as well as my small group of friends on here. but the overall website culture is so fucking bafflingly pretentious that i don't think i'll miss the rest of yall.
