a big part of the press's attempts to make it less clear the scale of israel's terror campaign-
is to rely on ignorant americans and europeans hearing "israel has attacked damascus, aleppo, and lebanon" and not knowing how far away all those places are from gaza
"fighting hamas" apparently means carpet bombing the shit out of the following areas* of the map and the government of my country has thrown their full support behind it
you can't tell me this is "fighting terrorism" any more than you could convince me that invading iraq was "fighting terrorism"
(*in case any of this alarms you or makes you think this is the start of WWIII or whatever; israel has been invading lebanon and syria, as well as palestine, for years now. it's not a new development, it's an ongoing habit)
anyway. israel. tiny country with an arsenal that far, far outweighs its small size- buys weapons in bulk from american arms factories like theyve got a shopping addiction, and then looks for any excuse to fire them at anyone who looks at them funny. this is textbook war for war's own sake
