I find Veney fascinating and seeing the new "short" ruleset was recently published, I was inspired to finally attempt to make my own set of pieces for it. I used some super sculpey I still have from college (wow it really doesn't go bad, that stuff is over 10 years old), spent a morning feeling out/shaping the pieces, baked them in my toaster oven and painted them with some cheap black acrylic paint I had also lying around from college.
I'm quite satisfied with the results. Would like to finish the set with the white pieces as well sometime, and maybe attempt to actually play the game. I think I might repaint the Rien to be gray, as I am planning to do the same with the Free Engagement.
