I've started playing Slay the Princess and 1) Johnny Sims and Nichole Goodnight are both extremely good at making me believe there are more than two voice actors in this thing, 2) it strikes me how much the plot is just a transitive sentence while also being a lot more than that. Like fundamentally what happens is that You (subject) Slay (verb) The Princess (object). a lot more stuff happens inside of each of those syntactic roles but i genuinely think analysing whats happening syntactically could be quite interesting.
