pillow basalt enjoyer

i think i gotta keep these themed movie-night-double-features going, since i did this with godzilla minus one/boy and the heron and of course barbenheimer (sp). lisa frankenstein and poor things sure is an interesting combo of takes on frankenstein/pygmalion. i like lisa frankenstein better, ngl. I just don't think poor things was for me. I liked it well enough, but i don't really want to watch it again; it's more of a personal preference thing because of all the sex scenes. it's not a moral or qualitative judgement on the movie, it just wasn't really something i was prepared for going in blind and there's just soooo much. i'd like to see his other films before i pass anymore judgement on poor things though. i keep meaning to, but for whatever reason i just kinda always put it off. lisa frankenstein was perfect though, 10/10. just a ridiculous monster romance movie, an instant halloween classic. diablo cody does it again folks
