whoever has been running the @Sonic-Official account has been doing an extremely good job, and has been sneaking in bits of personality that are very fun. i kept making jokes about "cohost!sonic", so i thought it would be fun to draw what this mysterious version of sonic would be like behind the screen. based off of his posts, it looks like he's living his newly-single life, learning CSS, and loves to throw digs at twitter & cops in his posts' tags. we love & support you cohost!sonic -- even if you're unverified, you're still canon and still valid to us all, thank you for being here!
before i forget, i wanted to post about this in particular--
i drew this one in late december 2022, just a few months after i joined cohost because i was feeling fed up with other social media channels. as soon as i got here, i could tell the Vibe was unique, in a very good and refreshing way. in such a short amount of time, i started to feel welcome here, and as even more new people starting coming in, i saw a culture specific to cohost start to bloom -- and i made this art to celebrate that. we all cultivated a special little corner of the internet together, even if just for a short while. i'll miss it. and i'll always feel a bit sad, i think, whenever i look at this art again. but i'm happy that we had this little moment in time together.
