During my research for my post about the game Sociopolitical Ramifications, I also tried to find information about Eurofurence 2, the furry convention arranged in Sweden in 1996 by the two creators of the game. One thing I found was this old website belonging to a Swedish furry by the name of André Heinonen, who apparently attended the convention, and even drew a number of door signs used during it. Among other things, his site has a number of photos from the convention, specifically of pictures that some of the congoers drew on dusty surfaces in the locale (a school building in the city of Linköping):
An image of a canine head drawn in dust on a blue surface.By S. Windstrup
An image of an anthropomorphic animal drawn in dust on a blue surface.By André Heiononen
An image of an anthropomorphic rabbit drawn in dust on a blue surface.By K. Aronen
An image of an anthropomorphic animal dran in dust on a blue surface.By S. Jirenius

I think it’s pretty great that these images, that are otherwise extremely ephemeral because of their medium, have been preserved in this way. And I think they’re a testament to the fact that furries will find ways to express themselves artistically in any medium available to them, be it digital or physical. I also wonder what the cleaning staff thought when they found a literal “dust bunny” in the school after the convention.

Yes, the work of two Swedish university students became extremely important for the whole furry community, as I understand it. Though it doesn't seem that the Linköping university staff was aware of it until several years later, and I don't know how aware the rest of the Ctrl-C student society was (even if Snout wrote an article in their newsletter explaining "furryism").
