amazon's fucking web crawler just about killed my server, 'cause it decided it was going to index the fucking gitweb cgi page, in parallel, from multiple IPs.
It took nearly five minutes to log in on the serial console, and wade through the forest of out-of-memory errors. System load of 35.99, on a single-core system. 50MB of free RAM left, no free swap.
