The really fun thing about having the engine back in my truck is that now I can find out how badly my custom made exhaust headers don't fit, because I totally forgot about the existence of the front axle while I was building them.
Which means I get to build them again! But better* this time!
This is the one that fits least worst, and it points directly at the diff cover.
The other one can't even bolt up because it hits the top of the diff housing.
And I have a lot less room to make that turn on the inlet runner than I remembered! Zowee!
This is part of why I didn't make this up yet, beyond the stubs that I made overly long to cut down as needed. I have plenty of vertical clearance available though, so while I'll have to adjust my 'plans' the general gist of it should be fine.
Trying to squeeze as long an intake runner into this space as possible, y'see.
