's kinda funny how when I'm able to tinker with my own stuff and try things I'm not sure will work, I'm more happy to post that on the interweb because I'm less likely to have to deal with people screaming at me that I'm doing it wrong and that I'm an idiot who should do [X] instead, than I do in real life.
Which is a pretty sad indictment of how shit goes for me out in meatspace. At least when someone does that to me online, I can block 'em, delete the comment, or whatnot.
Anyway, my attempt at sealing the side of my truck's engine with rubber strip does not appear to have worked. I haven't investigated it yet, so it may just be that I forgot to tighten some bolts up when I mounted the coilpack on them, or I may have to go at it again with the sealant. Orrr maybe I'll have to splash out for a big piece of thick gasket-paper that I'm going to cut 90% of away.
