As old as the Web.

I am going to ramble about so much garbage.

Some of it will be mechanical, some of it electronic, some of it will be software, and most of it will be of little interest to anyone; but here it is all the same.

people always talking about how don bluth turned everyone into furries. i've never seen a single thing the guy made but i did have drakan: order of the flame and i did desire very heavily to find a patch that removed the useless human

my failure to realize that such a thing did in fact exist is one of my greatest lifelong regrets. if i had this, i would have finished this game

premodded copy of the game. pretty sure this'll just work. be on windows. extract the folder somewhere. extract Drakan-Saves.7zip to your Documents folder if you want a save that skips the incredibly tedious intro area and drops you right before you get the big dragon. run drakan.exe. god bless

the bad old days of sequels to pc games getting moneyhatted into exclusives for other systems. fwiw, it plays wonderfully in pcsx2 and feels pretty good on the controller!

the only good thing about WoW was that you could pop into basically any mid to high level area and see a neat dragon of some sort. if you were impatient you could have a dragon mount, for instantaneous access to dragons. I was one of the first on my server during Cataclysm to get the potion that turns you into a rideable dragon mount. Too bad WoW's a black hole of misery in every other regard

Oh right, I figured the link was the mod, not the whole game. Very nice!

Going to be interesting because the (pirated) original I have is the German version. Among other things it had the violence options removed (media censorship in Germany was notoriously strict in the 90s, and downright draconian for video games). Preposterous, chopping off limbs is half the fun of melee combat! Luckily, this bit of paternalism was easily circumvented by editing the config file, lol.
