Fucked up thing is, the Tu-4 is just the first example I have of how blatant the Soviets were with this stuff, when you look at the jet engines, the tank engines, the missiles, the cars, it was all just "we are going to copy this thing that works instead of make our own" all the way down- which, again, I can't possibly begin to actually be angry about- both because it would be silly for me to, and because it's fucking hilarious
