My goodness gracious...!
2022 was definitely A YEAR (tm). Honestly, I'm still trying to process August and here we are on New Year's Eve! I definitely didn't feel prolific this year considering I had to balance a wealth of new obligations at work and a whole load of other crises, but I managed to do something fully/largely rendered each month, so that has to count for something, right? I'm definitely happy with my anatomical improvements but, from here out, I definitely need to improve how much busywork I frontload my pieces with. I used to do three sketches layered on top of each other before going into the linework and that's really not necessary if it's just a bust. It's an old habit I gained from working through math problems and it kinda bled into me learning how to draw, but I can easily shake that.
I'm already working on a new banner for 2023, so I'm going to do my best to maintain this momentum or potentially increase it!
