Also, for as much as I am very much NOT A FAN of touchscreens taking over the job of physical, tactile buttons; I will say there is one thing I want to see, if we're going to have a fucking TV built into the dashboard:
Proper on-board diagnostics that don't just puke a bunch of inscrutible MIDs, PIDs, and SHIDs at you; and instead give you proper diagnostic info, and access to basic tests.
There's enough computing power in there to do it, so why do we have to put up with a yellow light coming on, and having to plug a laptop in to get told "3227-10" (then having to look that up in a doc someone's yoinked and uploaded somewhere.
(Yeah, yeah, I know why we 'have' to put up with it: how else are they gonna make you go to the fucking dealer, or throw £5k down on a diagnostic machine that you still have to rent access to the fucking software...)
