there's a stupid impractical walljump tech that falcon can do in ultimate. but only on the left side of the stage (im assuming it's some silly consequence of the fact that most characters are actually slightly asymmetrical facing left vs right since they don't just mirror the model when you turn like they did in older games)
it's not useful, so i spam it between stocks just for fun and i've gotten pretty consistent at it. but the other day i accidentally did it on the right side of the stage and i could only replicate it like 1 out of 100 attempts even frame by frame in training mode and i think it's just unfathomably difficult to do on the right side for whatever reason
it kind of haunts me
the level of jank in this game is off the charts… i saw a youtube video about how cloud’s side-b is actually better on one side for similar reasons. it’s funny that you bring up falcon tech because the inciting incident for this post was my frustration at not being able to do left-facing slingshots with falcon. hope the walljump secret jutsu gets you an unexpected win some day.
