hmm, does this happen under linux? could theoretically be a hardware issue (hitbox briefly pulling too much current and causing the USB hub to shut down)
it doesn’t, but i know why it happens ! it’s a bug with the device firewall i have to use to make the pad work 😅 its getting replaced soon
