Normally I would continue the eva screenshots until I reach the end of the series but I couldn't find any good ep 8/9 screenshots on evageeks so I probably have to watch it to get something that interests me. While I emotionally prepare to watch EVA, here's a nice SF3 background. Something that I haven't seen a lot of people mention about SF6 is that visually it looks fucking good! It's slick! The models are stylized without being cartoony and I love that direction for the series. A big issue I had with the aesthetics of SF pre-6 was that some clothing/models looked like plastic, but in this one you can feel the texture on JP's coat or the coarseness of Ken's stubble. It's nice !
I had a disturbing dream that has dredged up a specific emotional response I had to an event from 11 years ago. Not great. Otherwise it was a good nights sleep thanks to a combo of going to bed early, a heavy blanket and a thoughtful cat.
There's not much to post in these recently because there hasn't been anything going on. I've been cleaning a lot. The new setup is almost done but I haven't even turned it on yet because I'm dreading the data transfer. There's an old list of executables to install that needs to get updated, and then I have to do the tasks and set up environments, passwords, games, backups, etc. Kind of worried that in the fuss, I'll accidentally turn off my home server, and I haven't yet automated all the services and apps that its running (it's been up for over a month).
The guy who's always practicing trumpet in my building is giving me a nice background track while I'm typing this. Shoutout to you, trumpet man.
