I’ve been reading this on and off for a lil’ bit. It’s okay! The politics I agree with but I’m not feeling a lot about Fred or any other character except Wilma, whose backstory makes me cry!! So far these comics are kind of only occasionally good, and the rest of the time it’s not much at all. The art is very pleasant and interesting every issue though. I just got this because of a Certain Famous Panel and because I wanted to read the Mr. Snagglepuss McCarthyism reboot and this is kind of its companion piece.
After that I’ll be reading The Sentry by Jeff Lemire— because I really liked his Moon Knight and also it seems to be in conversation with Miracleman— and then… I think I wanna get into old newspaper cartoons.
Anyway, Street Fighter wise, I think A.K.I. is just going to be a character I play in training mode because, while I like her style and branching combo routes, I don’t like how she actually has to play the fighting part of the fighting game. No DP, no cancellable MK, idk, I like playing characters that make the opponent think, not me.
