i slept like shit… i hate sleeping badly because then i dont really get to play sf6 at the end of the day. it makes the day lame as hell. summer really messes with my sleep. i also hate it when i can’t sleep because im “hungry” because i dont really feel hunger? i guess that’s kind of on me to keep track of, but it would be nice for my body to have like, a blinking light or something? interoception machine broke.

midnight suns is such a gay game? like it turns out there’s a lot of queer sentiment in it? what’s up with that. i didn’t expect that from superhero xcom. thats pretty good. it’s a really good fun game. im only a few hours in and im really liking most of it.

i really like that there’s this boomer / gen z standoffishness between the midnight suns and the avengers. i can’t wait for marvel to reboot their universe so we can have x-men in things again. i hate tony stark. the game does too, which I appreciate.

The Midnight Suns Complaints

BUT i dont understand why there’s like 6 different crafting systems with their own little currencies and whatever? i dont really play a lot of modern single player games so seeing all these annoying microsystems feels very UnpackGameGoo. it’s the same thing with Diablo IV, there’s just a bunch of systems that just feel like chores that you need to do to pad out actual gameplay. and it’s mandatory because if you don’t use these systems you fall behind in power level. it’s… boring. just let me upgrade the card. just put the gems in the materials tab that im never gonna open. i also hate that they put ads for their microtransaction inside the game. i know it’s standard but still. “Oh you need premium currency for that” fuck off.

PS: i finished utena and i gotta rewatch immediately. i have no idea what happened
