Not sure about too good but, looking through my iTunes library, stuff that might fit the bill:

  • Big Trouble in Little China
  • Fantastic Mr. Fox
  • Galaxy Quest
  • Kung Fu Hustle
  • Logan Lucky
  • Pee Wee's Big Adventure
  • Raiders of the Lost Ark

You've probably seen some/most of these, but sometimes the best recovery watches are rewatches.

YMMV, and these will include some... drift:
things I barely remember:

  • The Goonies (it's been... Decades, so I don't know if it holds up/how Badly 80s it is)
  • Adventures in Babysitting?
  • Romancing the stone (but not the sequel)
  • Project A?
  • OG Jumanji?
  • Midnight run? (kinda drifting far)

things I remember better:

  • The Mummy (the Bisexual Panic one, but not the sequels)
  • The Three Musketeers? (the Tim Curry one)
  • The Fifth Element
  • The Princess Bride
  • Stardust
  • I guess technically National Treasure could also count? If you squint?

Seconding each and every one posted so far. Some other ones I'll shout out:

  • The Court Jester - Oldie and maybe technically a musical, but light and fun with some swashbuckling
  • The Man Who Knew Too Little - silly spy shenanigans, YMMV on Bill Murray
  • Smokey and the Bandit - Burt Reynolds and his mustache commit cool crimes and disrespect cops
  • Tremors 1-4 - Big worms! Gonna eatcha! Splattery creature features with fun casts that don't take themselves too seriously

is Clue too much, I count it as fun because I just can't believe this movie exists

also:
monster house
free guy
the lost city
the bob's burgers movie (i love this movie but its also definitely an extended episode theyve done before (which is fine w me tbh but wanna note it))
i remember really liking thunder force but i gotta rewatch to see if that stands
blockers (ehhh?)
