my favorite thing about eggbug is that if literally any other social media platform tried to get their users to celebrate their mascot in the same way it would be met with unanimous hostility. eggbug can only happen here.

I think the absolutely critical part is that cohost has never tried to get their users to celebrate eggbug. It just happened organically.
