This was the frontrunner for album of the year ever since I first heard it. You want to know the shortcut to the top of my list? Make me feel nostalgic for a place and time I've literally never seen or experienced in my life. This album makes me want to fly across the country to visit South Carolina, a place I've never been nor know much of anything about, simply because of how great the music is. If that's not powerful, I don't know what is.
