My razer mouse just started to die (~3 years old, RIP click and drag) and, finding a replacement is more annoying than I was hoping. Probably in part because I'm trying to find a corded one, as I've had a lot of interference issues with wireless.

  • Tried a Logitech G502 and I really wanted to like it, but it's clearly made for bigger hands, lol (scrollwheel button is too awkward to reach and I am a person who can still fit into kid clothes sometimes). Also requires Logitech software to access the extra buttons.. I was hoping they'd work with BetterTouchTool app but nope.
  • The Microsoft Ergonomic Mouse is very comfy and still has the two additional side buttons but. loud. (CLICK.) Not sure if I can stand it after using quieter mice. I had a headache this morning after getting boosted with Moderna yesterday and it wasn't helping.

So I'm debating whether I'll return it and try to find another, but the pickings were a little slim for corded at the Best Buy I went to. The gamer mice that weren't razers all seemed to be for Big Gamer Hands, and I'm not super thrilled with the lifespan of my deathadder.
