tomorrow i have my first appointment with my new voice trainer. im really hoping it ends up being what im looking for this time. but also dreading how much work it's probably going to be
so i had the session. it went alright. but the instructor told me that she doesn't normally do voice feminization training (she usually does something else) and is only doing it to help whittle down the long waitlist. this bothers me a lot because
- i was not informed of this ahead of time and
- im paying full price.
so now im worried that it's not going to be a good fit and that im not going to get the best quality instruction since she doesn't normally do this, and im paying full price as if i was working with one of their specialists, and they didn't bother telling me any of this before i agreed to sessions.
this just feels really bad.
i went on their discord to look her up more (she's not listed on the website) and it seems like she mostly does integrated voice (i don't know what this is) and... voice masculinization training. um. this doesn't seem like a great fit??
