Mecha Sonic from the time when it was pointed out that the port on Mecha's chest isn't in fact a port, but rather his eye. Mecha's head lifts up and the eye is exposed when charging and firing the laser bolt.
Here's the animation broken down. I'm not sure how many people knew that's what was intended back in the day, but it blew my mind when I saw this.
