So glad I never became a youtuber so I didn't have to lie through my teeth about opera being a good browser
Even before it was a terrible Chrone reskin, it had an asshat of an HTML renderer. Browsers are supposed to gracefully make an attempt to parse broken HTML, because not everyone is perfect and having SOMETHING is better than nothing. Opera did not do this, and the slightest mistake broke everything on the page. This resulted in very smug and irate people complaining to webmasters that their website was complete trash because it didn't load properly in their precious Opera, without explaining anything, which was not very helpful to said webmaster who was on Linux and only had Firefox and Konqueror (ancestor to Safari) handy
