but the whole point of award shows isn't to determine what's good, it's to establish the award givers as arbiters of taste and status
either way it's very lol that there's an award show with "most anticipated", just giving up on the notion of traditional awards and making sure at least one nominee has some PR strap line for the release date

i can't think of a more fitting punishment for the "if you didn't like the game you should have played it more to understand how to play it" types than an award show that's even more transparent than the fanbase
