aw shit here we go again

I've been writing a very self-indulgent light novel for nanowrimo with one of my best friends about a grad student in folklore who gets lost in the woods and meets a witch and it's the most healing thing ever, like writing a letter to my past self about all the things I learned in therapy the last two years. I highly recommend writing self-indulgent fiction.

When I first started nanowrimo it was def anxiety inducing sometimes but I think after a while my brain got tired and broke like when it tries to contemplate a Buddhist koan and I just stopped caring. Now I just use it as an excuse or giving myself permission to write. I'm thousands of words behind my word count but oh well! I get an excuse to write. I dunno if that helps, but I do understand where you're coming from.

Sometimes it helps to just have a writing group. If you wanna ever meet up on zoom or discord and just write together at the same time, lmk
