No, but I did read it as a strained spelling of Smash (as in Melee).
I see it and think Single [instruction] Multiple Data... Harm?
the paper of note in my state is the Sydney Morning Herald, so the SMH has been a cite I've seen for most of my life and a few years ago children started using it to talk about being embarrassed of someone's ignorance, which, yeah, like, that actually works for the SMH
