is it not normal to just like learning about stuff? and by normal i mean neurotypical i guess. i get a lot of joy out of reading books about microorganisms, architecture, wildlife, plants. but i always get asked if im going to school for the subject, or work in a job related to it. i just love these things and knowing more about them (especially for free and at my own pace)

i think it's normal but capitalism isn't particularly encouraging of it which is why it might be seen as weird or whatever, don't think it's a neurodivergent/neurotypical thing though
