Another ttrpg spotlight: Witches Loving Wetlands, by Emily Zhu. You are all used to being solitary witches, queens of your own bog, swamp or fen. But the empire is coming for your lands, and you have two options: steal the power of your neighbours in order to defend your patch of land, or work together in order to fight off the empire.

I think WLW has a lot to say about finding community in folks that you would not normally spend time with, and while it's a small game, there's a lot going on here that is worth exploring.

Once, the Earth was Radiant. Then came the catacalysm. This is our chance to decide what happens next.

songs for the dusk, my forged in the dark science-fantasy tabletop RPG about building a better future, is officially out—for a 20% discount during launch month! inspired by the likes of destiny, she-ra, twilight mirage, & more, songs puts you in the role of brave and compassionate adventurers trying to make the world a better place. you'll build your own community and wield both physical skill and transcendent power to help it flourish. play a valiant Aegis, a clever Scholar, or a transcendent Witch; run missions as a crew of unbreakable Rangers or as a group of charming Silvers. meet fresh new spirits, grapple with old human conflicts in a new context, and hear the notes of a new physics humming beneath the surface of the world. in the downtime between missions, your striders can relax with each other or local NPCs, work on personal or technical projects, or even improve the very community they live in. you'll do more than just build a place you love—you'll have the chance to help it grow and change alongside you.

if you're trans and the price point of this game would be a difficulty for you, you can get a copy for free. all you gotta do is write me an email; there's instructions on the game's page.

finally, as was the case with the beta, proceeds from sales of this game will be going to aid for palestine indefinitely; check my itch.io creator page for details
