im not that person so talk my thoughts with a grain of salt, but part of me wonders if it was asking more along the lines of "which pronouns do you like using, just not as much as other pronouns?"
like for me, i like using they/them but they're my least favorite pronouns because while it's not misgendering me, it doesn't feel as radical as neopronouns or feminine pronouns. and my gender is tied up pretty tightly with rejection of gender roles and stereotypes. it's not to say they/them is an aspect of conformity or "wishy-washiness" or anything, it just doesn't feel quite as punchy as hearing somebody call me 'it' or 'she' i guess.
but again, im not the asker so i don't know if this was the case or not
