A critter on the internet

Avatar by Sol

A techie critter and casual streamer in their mid-twenties with interests in webhosting. Known for running web servers on things that shouldn't run web servers, turning others into similar looking blue raccoons, and being a little bit bigger than average.

I post non-lewd kink, but make best efforts to tag it 18+. This might not always happen, however (especially if it's only adjacent to it.) Please only follow if you are 18+.

Additionally, please put something in your profile before following me. I probably won’t block over it or anything, but I get a little anxious when I’m followed by an empty account.

Windows is a very functional and user-friendly operating system.

...until you run into an issue, at which point attempting to diagnose it becomes an arcane ritual in which you attempt to divine the meaning of random numbers and letters windows pulls out of its ass (if it even gives you any)

in reply to @tenna's post:

I once spent three hours diagnosing a Windows Update that was refusing to install with no user-facing explanation and eventually discovered a log file that told me exactly what earlier update was broken, which I was able to manually download and force reinstall and then the new update completed no problem. Why Windows Update could not tell me this information up front is anyone's guess.

This same Windows install would later go on to get stuck thinking it's in Safe Mode when it's really not because I tried to uninstall a video driver. This is a completely unrecoverable state (I tried) that warranted a reinstall. Amazing.
