…okay, that’s hilarious.
so i’ve been getting frustrated with a $120 roku streambar that i’ve had - it’s kinda sluggish. it plays videos well enough, but the UI performance is bad.
in situations like this, i tend to go to extremes and think “if i get a really high powered device, i’ll never have this problem ever again.” so i was looking at the nvidia shield pro at first (and attempting to justify paying $200 for a 4 year old streaming box.)
however, after seeing a few comments online, i then did some research and realized i don’t really have to go that hard to get better performance than what i have. one trip to the store and a bit of setup later, i think the streambar is being outperformed by a tiny $20 box from walmart.
