being made aware of something far beyond your mental capabilities and going mad from being unable to describe them with your limited human (in this case, baby) capabilities is literally also how Lovecraftian horror works. I think there was even a story about how someone used to be a cosmically aware alien but then got turned into a human and how that affected them.

Yeah, you know the biggest reason why I haven't read his work yet. I know how he named his cat x3 Other cosmic-horror writers sounds like a great choice though!
